A Dearth of Penguins //{-o-}// 22 May 2004 - 1:53 pm
Yahoo for some reason will let me sign into their email on the website, but not the email-alert service on their messenger. Which is primarily what I use it for, otherwise I would completely forget to check my email, assuming that no one had anything to say to me. But this afternoon? No little blinking envelope on my taskbar. :( I could be getting email right now and not knowing it! (Probably not.)
I have half a roll of film left that I wanted to use before Balticon - the options were either to bring it to the apartment on Wednesday and take pictures of the ugly empty rooms looking bare and gross before everyone moves in, or to go the aquarium today (I'm a member, so I get in free. :D) and take pictures of penguins. I was really rooting for option number two (penguins!) but it looks as if it's not going to happen, because everyone has left and taken their cars with them. And david is off having a clandestine affair with his vacuum cleaner, or at least this is what he tells me. Sometimes I worry about that boy.
I am still surrounded by mountains of things, some of which will be returning to Worcester on Wednesday. I still can't find anything that I am looking for, and a nagging voice in the back of my mind is telling me that several boxes are missing.
My hands are shaking too much for painting. It's as if I've had twelve cups of coffee, but really it's just all the cold medicine. I am still upset at my discovery that the Animal Planet channel does not show documentaries. :( I've had a strange David Attenborough craving all this week.
Also, have I mentioned how much I hate moving? Because it's a WHOLE LOT. ESPECIALLY TWICE IN ONE MONTH.
Also I hate my underwear.
That is all.
